One of our members, Karen Zolnay, has a daughter named Kaitlynn, who has been doing orchid photography on canvas in her free time and has been invited to do a show at Caffe Galleria at 18 South Main Street in Lambertville during the month of April, with an opening reception on April 13th from 4 -6pm.
BCOS members are invite to come check it out. Light refreshments will be served, and all work will be available for sale.
Our guest speaker this month was Michael Bowell. MIchael’s topic was “Planning and designing a show display”. Using the plants from our show table, he quickly put together an impressive arrangement, showing us how to use colors and shapes, along with creative placement, to create a dazzling display of orchids.
Evidently, some of our members were paying close attention, as the display they put together far surpassed the expectations of this writer. Check out the pictures in the photo section and see for yourself!
